The Community Impact Initiative gives young adults meaningful opportunities to serve, lead, and contribute to the well-being of their neighborhoods.
Decision makers / participants will develop or receive support with:
- Organizing community cleanups
- Supporting food and clothing drives
- Assisting with community events
- Creating awareness campaigns
- Participating in violence-prevention activities
- Completing community service projects
- Supporting neighborhood improvement efforts
- Distributing helpful resources and information
OUR APPROACH
Marcus Youth Discovery Group uses a strength-based, young-adult-centered, and community-informed approach.
We see young adults as whole individuals—not as their circumstances, mistakes, labels, or past experiences. We focus on their strengths, potential, relationships, choices, and future.
Our programs are designed to help young adults develop the confidence and skills to become decision makers in their own lives.
